www.ums.ac.uk Dr Michael McBride is the new Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for Northern Ireland. A graduate of Queens University Belfast Medical School, he also trained in St Mary’s at Imperial College London. His specialist interest in HIV/AIDS suggested early on in his career that he was not afraid of working in a challenging and ever changing field. I met with him to discuss his vision of the NHS in Northern Ireland.
